When considering changing careers from the non-profit world in 2018, it was important to me to find a company that valued being a good community member and neighbor as a top priority. Portside has been the perfect fit; whether it is through a volunteer opportunity for a Portside Gives Back Event, a monetary donation, or the unwavering support from the staff to help bring your own idea for helping the community to fruition, the opportunities for community engagement are endless.
I am so proud to be a Founding Board Member of 1% for Maine. 1% for Maine focuses on the next generation, Maine’s youth. Supporting and addressing systemic Maine problems including generational poverty, substance abuse, and limited access to medical care, education, and food. I have committed, along with Portside Real Estate Group, to giving 1% of gross revenue to Maine's future.
I am also honored to have the opportunity to support Maine Needs, an amazing local non-profit that I wish had been available when I was a social worker. Maine Needs aims to meet people on the hill they climb and ease stressors by rallying the heart of the community to provide basic needs.
