ReLAUNCH, a fun maritime themed cocktail party at the Barn at 149 Port Road was put on by Portside’s Kennebunk office as part of Kennebunkport’s Launch festival that celebrates seafarers of yore, and benefitted Ben’s Fight, a local nonprofit. Ben’s Fight helps support families who are affected by cancer.
Close to 75 guests gathered safely on June 17th for a night of giving, networking and maritime themed cocktails. With many local businesses donating silent auction items, there was fierce competition for the item on the night, a brand new paddle board donated by Kennebunk Savings Bank. Other auction items included passes to local fitness studios and gift certificates to local restaurants. Attendees also had the option to donate directly to Ben’s Fight via the silent auction in addition to bidding on items.
In one night, Kennebunk Portsiders were able to raise over $6,000 for Ben’s Fight! This donation will go toward supporting local families in their fight against cancer.
